Proof of concept; tablet is taken apart and placed behind screen

Completely removed the tablet sensor and replaced usb cabled

Cut plastic behind lcd panel

plastic removed to reduce spacing between tablet sensor and lcd

put everything together to see what it would look like

booted it up with paper to make sure nothing shorted

works! but the mouse is offset

Since the tablet is smaller than the screen, only a portion of screen can be used

Took the bottom housing of another powerbook

cut the bottom of old graphire housing

had to expand the powerbook casing to fit

test fit; note the notche made to route the usb cable

small and ugly notch for the monitor cable

test fit again

glued the tablet case to powerbook case with steel glue
